How to Watch Screambox on Xbox: Here’s How I Watched

Love to watch horror shows or movies? I don’t, but yes sometimes, I can watch, but not alone☺️. 

One day I decided to watch a scary movie on my Xbox; I wanted to watch that movie from Screambox as I had a subscription for that. There was no option for that; alas.

I searched and found that Screambox is not available on Xbox while easily available on other platforms, such as Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku TV, Android TV, iPhone or iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac Devices, Windows PC or Laptops, LG Smart TV, Samsung Smart TV, Sony Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV. 

Some web pages mentioned that you can download Screambox on Xbox but, officially It is not mentioned. In fact, I was facing issues downloading it on my Xbox.

I couldn’t understand; it was available for so many devices so why not on Xbox? 

This was the question that was triggered in my mind. That’s why I am going to mention the devices on which you can use Screambox.

Screambox Availability on Devices

When I was doing research, I found some very helpful information that saved my day. I found the devices on which Screambox content could be seen. Here are these devices; 

Screambox is available on Amazon Fire Cube, Fire Stick, Fire TV, Android phones and tablets, Android TV, Apple TV (4th gen.), Apple TV 4K, Chromecast, Chromebook, VIZIO smart TVs (select models), Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, iPhone, and PC, Mac web browsers. 

Now, the question is on which devices, Screambox is not available? Don’t go anywhere, let’s see those devices.

Devices That Do Not Support Screambox

For now, Echo Show, Nintendo Switch, NVIDIA Shield Pro TV, PlayStation 3, 4, 5, TiVo Stream, Wii, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S don’t support Screambox.

So what about; if you want to watch Screambox content on your Xbox? There’s a way. 

How to Watch Screambox on Xbox: Add it to Amazon Prime

Don’t be sad, I have watched my movie on my Xbox One, and you could too. What did I do? Let’s see.

To watch Screambox on your Xbox One, add Screambox as a channel to your Amazon prime. When you do this, you can access the content through the Xbox, as well as the regular Screambox app.

To add Screambox as a channel to Amazon Prime Video, 

• Go to Amazon Prime and sign up for an account.

• Now, click on “Start your free trials” to start.

• Now, follow the on-screen instructions and complete the signup process.

How to Download Amazon Prime on Xbox and Watch Its content?

Xbox supports the Amazon Prime Video app, and downloading and installing it is a very easy process. Once you complete the download and setup process, you can easily consume Screambox content.

I have done this to watch Screambox on my Xbox One device. If you also want the same,

• Sign up for Amazon Prime Video; if you already have an account, you can skip this step.

• Once completing the signing up process, go to the Home Screen on your Xbox.

• Launch the app store on it and search for “Amazon Prime Video”; such an easy step. Till here, I think you don’t have any issues.

• Now, select “Install” to install the app once the Amazon prime app is seen.

• Once the app is installed on your Xbox, log in using your Amazon Prime Video credentials.

• You can now stream Amazon Prime Video on Xbox and since you signed up for Amazon prime and Screambox both, you can enjoy Screambox content as well.
