Samsung has officially unveiled its latest budget 5G smartphone, the Galaxy A17 5G, officially listed on the company’s iris subsidiary, priced at €239 (~Rs 24,486.03). According to the officials, the device starts shipping on August 11, available in colors: black, gray and blue.
Among the trio: Black, Gray and Blue, the Blue variant has quickly emerged as a fan favourite, with its premium finish drawing comparisons to the colour palette seen in Samsung’s high-end foldable devices.
The Galaxy A17 5G features a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth viewing experience.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD up to 1TB.
One of the key highlights of the device is its massive 6,000mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging, ensuring extended usage without frequent charging breaks.
On the rear, the smartphone sports a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, while an 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
